Welcome to the inaugral Trail Series based on the Lagan Valley Regional park.

All events will be based at Shaws Bridge and start in the  proximity of the Ramada Hotel - Instonians/Cooke Playing Fields.

 Junior events will be held over shorter courses.

RACE TWO

Tuesday 24th August 2010 7.00 pm

THE GRAVEYARD

Race 2 starts and finishes and at the same place but on this occasion runners will turn left along the towpath and head to Shaws Bridge where they will encounter the zig zag climb on to the old bridge before entering Clement Wilson Park on the opposite side of the river. A short climb and a run across the slope to access Newforge Lane.  A return to the river via the old Golf Driving range and along the tow path before turning sharp left for a killer climb up along the back of Newforge playing fields.  Back down to river again and across the access bridge to run alongside the canal. Down and up the steps and back to the finish.

The Junior race will precede the adults and will be in region of one mile in length with the course still to be decided.
